The sixteen teams qualified to compete for the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Pro League World Champion of the Year 2 title at the Six Invitational are:

  • PENTA SPORTS (Europe): The German structure can be ambitious. Despite their defeat against the Black Dragons in the semi-finals of the São Paulo tournament, the double Champions of Seasons 1 & 2 of the Pro League can count on Sha77e (ex-ENCE), a major recruit, to establish their dominance.
  • COUNTER LOGIC GAMING (North America): Winners of the Six Invitational 2017 on Xbox, the members of the former line-up of Elevate will be present this time on PC. In Year 2, they proved that their transition did not affect their performance, especially at Gamescom where they finished second on the podium behind PENTA, which still earned them a spot in the Six Invitational.
  • ENCE (Europe): Incredible winners of the last Pro League season in São Paulo, Wilkey and his teammates proved that the curse that affected them in tournaments, is now a thing of the past. Today, their goal is to achieve the same feat as Continuum last year by winning successively a Pro League season and the Six Invitational.
  • BLACK DRAGONS (Latin America): One of Brazil's biggest teams, the Black Dragons team earned its spot in the Six Invitational thanks to impressive domestic results. She won Seasons 1 & 3 of the Latin American Pro League.
  • EVIL GENIUSES (North America): Previously known as the Continuum, winner of the 2017 Six Invitational, the team led by its Canadian captain wants to prove that its defeat to ENCE in São Paulo was just an accident.
  • EINS (Asia Pacific): Winner of the play-offs of the first Asia-Pacific Pro League, the Japanese team wants to show more in Montreal than it did in São Paulo, and prove that the last 3 months have allowed it to improve its level of play.
  • ERA ETERNITY (North America): Winner of Team Reckless in the grand finale of the North American qualifying tournament, eRa Eternity will present its new line-up of seasoned players at the Six Invitational 2018. A big test for GurmyWormy and his teammates.
  • MINDFREAK (Asia Pacific): The Australian team emerged victorious from the hotly contested Asia-Pacific qualifying tournament. A regular at the Six Invitational, the team participated last year on Xbox and is back this year on PC.
  • ROOM FACTORY (Europe): The Russian line-up earned its place for Montreal thanks to a solid performance in the qualifying tournaments. Competing in the Challenger League, they are not a team to underestimate.
  • SUPREMACY (Europe): The French team emerged victorious from the qualifying tournaments of the Europe region. Supremacy has shown the importance of stability in the Pro League with a line-up unchanged since August 2016, apart from the arrival of BriD in October 2017.
  • YES! GAMING (Latin America): The former Lanchonete line-up is one of the big surprises of the qualification tournaments in the Latin America region where competition is very strong with teams like FaZe Clan, Team Liquid or BRK.
  • 1UP ESPORT (Europe): The German team, which recently entered the Pro League and narrowly lost to Supremacy during the European qualifying tournament, was invited to Montreal following its good performances.
  • FAZE CLAN (Latin America): The former FONTT team was able to show its consistency during Year 2. They reached the semifinals twice at the end of the season events and GohaN and his team were invited to Montreal.
  • ROGUE (North America): Invited to Montreal by Ubisoft, Rogue has always been considered a strong contender for the Pro League finals. For Year 2, Rogue players qualified twice in a row for tournaments where they were eliminated by Brazilian teams.
  • TEAM LIQUID (Latin America): The former MOPA line-up will be at the Six Invitational to prove their worth in Group B of the tournament. Invited by Ubisoft, the team had reached the finals of Season 1.
  • VITALITY (Europe): The French team confirmed its invitation to the Six Invitational by winning the community vote. Vitality has been present on the competitive gaming scene since Season 1 of Year 1 on Xbox One and since Year 2 on PC.
