Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment have just updated Crossout, with update 0.9.90 bringing its share of new features and fixes.
This update is quite important. Indeed, with it, comes a new PvP game mode, a PvE cooperative raid, a new map and various improvements on Crossout.
Domination: Crossout's new PvP game mode
With Domination, teams must fight for control of three different areas on the map. The two teams of eight players must therefore strategically manage their forces to capture and hold at least two zones to achieve victory. It is possible to access it in random battles by possessing level 10.
Nameless Tower: the new map
It is present in the "missions" mode and hosts "Capture" and "Domination" scenarios. In Wasteland, a large unfinished tower appeared, a cult was formed. Its followers have even settled in abandoned buildings. At the foot of the tower, a damaged dome was dug up with an active reactor at its center. Myths and legends were born. According to some, the reactor has made it possible to reappear life in the city. For others, the reactor is dangerous and would only work with human sacrifice. Finally, the craziest think that the reactor feeds the nameless tower, allowing it to rise ever higher. The mystery of the Tower attracts curious and looters.
Steel Cradle: the cooperative PvE raid
The survivors spent much of their time making Leviathans, these fearsome war machines. Until recently, it was thought that it was impossible to produce such machines on the assembly line. This was without counting on a fatal incident… The survivors testified about what they saw, the large-scale production of steel monsters. If no one intervenes, the massive production of Leviathans could sink the Valley.
It is necessary to understand who builds Leviathans and for what purposes but above all to stop their production. The assembly plant is powered by three energy towers. By destroying the towers, Leviathan will be weakened and easier to beat. The towers have their own objectives to achieve in a given time to destroy them such as:
- Destroy a tower with explosive charges
- Kill the gang of raiders and their leader
- Exterminate turrets to reduce tower durability
Each turn eliminated reduces the durability of Leviathan by 25%
