In an ecological context, restaurants have decided to eliminate plastic straws and cups. McDonald's is no exception. What to do with the remaining straws? The American brand has the answer: put them back into the sea… but in a different form! The red sign turns green. Indeed, McDonald's is embarking on upcycling. New trend that consists of recovering materials that are not used to transform them into another product. And materials, Mcdo not lack them. Especially plastic. Indeed, after having taken the decision to remove straws from the restaurant for ecological reasons, it was necessary to continue on this momentum and transform this plastic into something useful. The fast food therefore opts for swimsuits and beach shorts. Essential in this summer period. The beachwear is in the colors of the iconic straws: white with yellow and red stripes. It is the agency Virtue that is at the origin of the project. 
In any case, it is a good initiative on the part of the American giant. Long accused of polluting water because of its single-use plastic, it works for a good cause and it will surely make companies want to do the same. After the lidl collection, here is the McDonald's collection. Available only in Austria at the moment, the collection is in limited edition and can only be won by drawing lots on the restaurant's website. We hope it will be available in France very soon.
