A very decorative start to the year with the first edition of the Maison et Objets show of the year 2018, which took place from 19 to 23 January in Villepinte. It is undoubtedly the temple of design, art of living and decoration, exclusively reserved for professionals (yes..!).
With no less than 3000 brands exhibited and more than 600 news for this edition, many professionals met to discover new trends and novelties in the field. A real gold mine for decorators, architects, retailers and buyers who find and negotiate what they will offer their client tomorrow. The fair is also a cultural crossroads that brings together professionals on a European scale: the language of Shakespeare is required if you want to make yourself understood.
On the show you can stroll through the aisles enjoying a sweet popcorn and enter the stands, or rather at the exhibitors. A real exhibition scenography is carefully carried out by each manufacturer, systematically putting the visitor in a different atmosphere and propelling him to the heart of the brand. We retain the SERAX space delimited by a white, light and sparkling veil or the interiors of Hkliving cozy which highlights their entire very bohemian chic collection.In addition, we leave with the book of the 2018 collection and a tot bag with the effigy of the brand: obviously, we melt!
A detour to the Cook and Share area is a must to enjoy tea and chocolates on site. In the Fragrance space it is an opportunity to smell the scents of our future candles. The trend is the organic candle, natural based on soy wax, this is what we learn from the brands Coudre Berlin, Lou Candeloun or the candles of our English neighbors Plum & Ashby. We also appreciate innovations in materials such as trompe-oeil tiles from Maison Berth, PVC, yes, but imitation earthenware to stick wherever you want. Plus, it's recyclable! We will also remember the huge green walls at Déco Végétale, very eco-chic-jungle. Easy to maintain and organic. What more could you ask for?
