Several months ago, we had the privilege of testing two rooms of Phobia Escape Game, this week we tackle their brand new room: The missing.
Come and discover our opinion on this thrilling room!
A concept approved and revisited!
Open since Wednesday, April 18, this escape game is based on a room from their old license: Claustrophobia. However, it has been improved, and has more puzzles than its Russian counterpart, making it an original concept.
An agonizing and thrilling escape game!
Of course, we are not going to talk about the story of the play, so as not to spoil the scenario to potential players. What we can describe, however, is the anxiety-provoking and disturbing atmosphere that transpires from every corner of the room! Indeed, the theme of the room is largely inspired by horror cinema: lack of brightness and lighting with oil lamps, music and sinister sound atmosphere, few but effective jumpscare, creepy scenery … all these elements contribute to the setting up of an atmosphere as scary as that of a Carpenter film!
The quality of the puzzles does not leave anything to be desired either: each element allowing the resolution of it is positioned organically in the scenery, and to solve them you will have to make use of your eyes, your ears and your nose (yes, your nose! I say no more…). In addition, each element does not stain the diegesis of the room: even the various padlocks, which are not used excessively, are not placed in inadequate places.
The team and I loved this escape game, which surprised us at several times, and we advise all thrill seekers to try this room!
