Synopsis
True Beauty tells the story of a young high school student, Im Ju-kyung, who has an inferiority complex when it comes to her appearance. She was constantly discriminated against by her family and bullied by her classmates because of her relative "ugliness". So she learns to use makeup by watching tutorial videos on the internet, her excellent makeup skills make her different and allow her to hide her real face. But now she hates the idea of being seen in public without makeup, it becomes her biggest fear! Thanks to her makeup, she becomes one of the prettiest girls in her new high school and people start calling her a "goddess". Despite her newfound popularity, Ju-Kyung lives in fear that her classmates will find out what she looks like behind makeup!
After arriving at his new high school, Im Ju-Kyung gets involved with two students from his school, Lee so-Ho, his handsome, very popular classmate with excellent grades, and Han Seo-Joon, the tough-looking bad boy, who is also quite popular.
