Fuko is a high school student with a brilliant personality. One day, his cousins Daiya and Ichi move into an apartment upstairs in Fuko. Daiya has a bright personality while Ichi doesn't talk much, but has a big heart. Fuko hesitates between the two.

The drama is an adaptation of a manga well known here, since it was marketed from 2006 to 2012 by Panini. It had already been adapted into a Taiwanese drama, Love Buffet, in 2011 starring a certain Aaron Yan. The assassination of Sudo Isao, a used car dealer, took place in Shizuoka Prefecture in 2008. Detective Kusaka Satoru of Shizuoka Police Prefecture conducts background checks. He learns that Sudo's son, ObataMamoru, from a previous marriage, died in a kidnapping in 1974. In 1988, a year before the statute of limitations for kidnapping, a special investigation unit was established by Police Chief Hashibami Yasuhide. Shigeto Seiichiro, became director of a group of six detectives as part of the reconsideration. Kusaka does not understand why Sudo, who lived in Tokyo twenty years after his son's death, was murdered in Shizuoka. Kusaka visits Shigeto who has left the police.

We end with a more serious story that promises us beautiful emotion and adrenaline, all in the form of a good policeman. The two actors impose, while already well present on the small Japanese screens. The story resembles, in some respects, Signal or Tunnel ; except that time travel does not exist!
