The most anticipated J-Drama of October 2017 [3/3]

Warotenka

We start with the 97th Asadora Drama of the NHK channel, real fact and daily life on the program.

During the late Meiji period (1868-1912), the Fujioka family ran a wholesale drug store for generations in Kyoto. Fujioka Ten was raised under the strict authority of his father, Gihee Fujioka. One day, she meets Tokichi Kitamura and decides to marry him. Her parents objected, but Ten married and moved to Osaka.

The drama is a loose adaptation of the life of Yoshimoto Sei, founder of the Yoshimoto production company. The name Asadora defines a drama of about fifteen minutes, beginning every morning from eight o'clock; it is exclusive to the NHK broadcasting channel. If you are passionate about the biography and daily life of the Japanese, we can only recommend this story. We will find: Wakana Aoi (Assassination Classroom), Kenichi Endo (Aishite tatte, Himitsu wa Aru) and Tori Matsuzaka (Yutori Desu ga Nani ka). For the most interested, everything happens on: NHK.

Kangoku no Ohimesama

Now we move on to something else since the theme will be about prison in the form of a comedy.

Kayo Baba is imprisoned for the attempted murder of her husband who was having an affair. She will meet four women. Akemi Adachi, jailed for possession of illegal drugs, Chinatsu Katsuda, caught for tax evasion, Yoko Daimon, who defrauded and embezzled funds and Shinobu Edogawa, imprisoned for murder. Chinatsu Katsuda happens to be the leader. Meanwhile, Futaba Wakai, the prison guard observes her wives and tries to help them. At first, Kayo struggles to adapt but eventually befriends his cellmates. She also learns that Shinobu Edogawa is imprisoned due to a miscarriage of justice. Six years later, Kayo Baba was released from prison along with Akemi, Chinatsu and Yoko. They decide by mutual agreement to avenge their friend, Shinobu, with the help of Futaba.

An interesting subject to see what happens in its prisons where our heroines will have to do everything to get out of this bee-eater. Our prisoners will be played by: Kyoko Koizumi seen this year in Super Salaryman Mr. Saenai, Aiko Morishita seen three years ago in Gomen ne Seishun! Miho Kanno who was in Beppin-san, Maki Sakai who just finished Ueki Hitoshi to Nobosemon, Kaho seen in Ito-kun A to E and finally, Hikari Mitsushima recently seen in Quartet. The credits will be a pleasant surprise since it is the charismatic singer Amuro Namie well known to fans of anime (One Piece) and drama (Haha ni Naru) who will produce it! Rikuoh

For this third drama, it is an adaptation that we discover in the field of work.

Koichi Miyazawa is the owner of a small company, which manufactures tabi (his traditional Japanese socks that are put in flip-flops). He is the CEO of the fourth generation and has twenty employees. But due to a decrease in demand, his company is struggling to stay afloat. Koichi then thought of launching a new line of products by making running shoes. For the survival of the company, he challenges himself to develop his new product, all while using his accumulated knowledge to make tabi.

Novel writer Jun Ikeido has become a safe bet in Japan since the drama adaptation of Hanzawa Naoki released in 2013. It is therefore with no less than nine dramas to his credit, that the author returns to us after Akira to Akira a second time. We will follow this boss ready to do anything for his company and his employees. The company will be managed by: Koji Yakusho who appeared in Byplayers, Kento Yamazaki seen in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Ryoma Takeuchi seen this year in Kahogo no Kahoko and Shunsuke Kazama who was in Gekokujo Juken. Otona Koukou

We move on to a little humor with this comedy where romance should not be far away.

To solve the problem of the country's low birth rate, the Japanese government has set up: Otona Koukou (a secondary school for adults). All adults over the age of thirty with no sexual experience are forcibly conscripted into this mysterious government-run school. Eito Arakawa is a bachelor in his thirties. He graduated from a prestigious university and works in a bank. Eito is physically attractive but is still a flea. He is forced to go back to class…

What to say about this synopsis which is reminiscent of Love and Lies. The plot is well worthy of the Japanese, who can not help but offer us dramas on serious themes but which nevertheless make us smile. In addition, he is a well-known actor of small and large screens that we appreciate enormously. This is the actor: Haruma Miura who signs here his second drama of the year after Onna Joshu Naotora. He will be joined by Ryo Ryusei (Chiisana Kyojin), Meisa Kuroki (Haikei, Minpaku-sama) and Airi Matsui (Sannin no Papa). Shinjuku Seven

It is always in manga adaptations that we continue our selection.

Nanase runs a pawnshop in the Kabukicho red-light district of Shinjuku, Tokyo. He is a genius when it comes to distinguishing right from wrong, whether in people's objects or thoughts. When customers come to her store, Nanase thoroughly inspects their items and also tries to solve their concerns.

A plot that should please fans of the main actor but also those who like it when it moves. The basic idea is that of a manga by two authors, Subaru Mizuki (writer) and Michinori Oku (illustrator) released in 2015. You wonder who holds the role of the pawnbroker, well, we're getting there: none other than Tatsuya Ueda from the group [KAT-TUN] will be in the foreground for the first time. Ito Ono will sign his second drama this year after Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu, as well as Tomoya Nakamura (Million Yen Women) very active with nearly six dramas for 2017. Re: Mind

We remain in the idols with a touch of mystery all the same, the season lending itself well.

Twelve classmates from the same high school wake up and discover that they have been locked up in a place unknown to them. The girls try to think about how they got here. Why were they locked up? And how do you escape?

The month of October is a time when we like to scare ourselves and have chills. Here is an ideal plot, especially if you are in love with idols or want to see their acting games! We close with a final adaptation, where crime and malaise will go hand in hand.

Mitsuki Hiura is the former manager of a college football team. At a meeting for the football team, Mitsuki attends along with former team member Tetsurou Nishiwaki, and other teammates. There she confesses to killing a person while also claiming that due to a dysphoria disorder, he now lives as a man. After hearing the news and the shock has passed, Tetsurou and other colleagues try to help him.

A subject that makes you think about the disease that affects this manager, namely that dysphoria is the opposite of euphoria. It is an emotional and mental disorder perceived in an unsatisfied or dissatisfied individual. We owe this plot to Keigo Higashino's novel published in 2001.
