Original story written by Reiki Kawahara the author of the light-novel Sword Art Online, Ordinal Scale takes place 1 year after the events of the Phantom Bullet arc!
Synopsis :
Ordinal Scale is the new trendy game. It uses a brand new augmented reality device called Augma.Thus, players make quests in the real world thanks to virtual elements that appear in various places in the city, increase their level by fighting against monsters and use various items to progress in their quest.But an incident upsets the balance of Ordinal Scale forcing players to find a way out of the game.We follow Kirito, Asuna, and their friends, in this new system where PvP battles (player vs player) as well as boss clashes are commonplace.

The light-novel Sword Art Online currently has 17 volumes bound in Japan. In France you can find them at Ofelbe editions, whose 4th volume (double volume) was released on June 30, 2016.
