A series of 10 volumes written by Rensuke Oshikiri, and known in particular thanks to the Netflix series released in 2019. Volume 7 was released on July 8 and we review it. A story that is distinguished by a funny part with the secondary characters, but also a love triangle of the most torwing.

A feminine rivalry
After Hidaka's defeat in the previous volume against Haruo to become his girlfriend, we see in this volume that she develops a certain resentment, even violence towards him. As for Ono, she has more and more liberties with Ms. Moemi. So she tries to spend more time with Haruo. But Hidaka does not want to let go of Haruo, and the rivalry between her and Ono will intensify and they will challenge each other. And as usual, Haruo will believe that this challenge is purely for the game… But in this volume, we will see much more Hidaka. To all those who want to see Haruo with Ono, you will not like Hidaka in this volume.
But we have, as usual, a lot of very funny scenes. Especially with Namie the mother of Haruo and Makoto the sister of Ono.
Humor, still present
Throughout the volumes, we see a growing friendship between Namie and Makoto. They get along wonderfully, and make us laugh. 
In addition to making us laugh, they are present in the Ono – Haruo relationship, a part of the adorable story. Makoto takes care of both Ono and Haruo. In this volume, she will take care of him but Haruo will also take care of her because even if he will not see Ono much, he will still think of her (as always). And now that he sees his sister more, he gets to understand Ono better. We want more Namie – Makoto, a tandem that makes us laugh. And of course, we still have as many references in this manga which is a pleasure to read and a real favorite.
For this volume and especially this ending, we understand that a lot will happen in volume 8 that we are looking forward to September 3rd. The suspense of this last scene will last all summer but we have only a few volumes left before the end of this favorite retro gaming series.
