You dreamed it, NHK did it. The manga Radiant will be adapted into an anime series by the Japanese!

Launched in France since 2013, Tony Valente's manga Radiant continues to hit the headlines!

While it quickly rises in the most prominent French manga in the same way as Dreamland or City Hall, Radiant has this graphic touch that seems to be the closest to the Japanese among French authors. In 2015, when his work has barely 3 volumes, it is the Japanese who wish to publish it in the land of the rising sun, will follow, Germany, Italy or Spain.

Today, it is the journalist Paul Giner who shares his discovery with us via a tweet, after an interview with Tot the boss of Ankama!

The adaptation would therefore be in production with a planned release if everything goes well at the end of 2018!

EDIT 27/01/2018

It seems that the announcement of the animated adaptation of Radiant is a mistake, first denied by Guillaume Lapeyre author at Ankama and friend of Tony Valente, then confirmed by Anthony Roux allias Tot, the boss of Ankama…

We apologize for the false information, which seemed consistent in view of the source, however Tot will take the time to develop the events, in the near future via an official statement.

Edit 01/02/2018

The announcement was finally true, Radiant is well suited in anime! It is the studio Lerche that will be in control of the title. Relayed for the first time by the Japanese TV channel NHK, Tony Valente, the author of Radiant confirms the news with a more precise explanation on the case!
