Today, we are talking about a new LIVE film adaptation expected for spring 2017 in Japan. This is the manga Peach Girl created by the mangaka Miwa Ueda, also at the origin of the manga Momoiro Biyaku or Papillon Hana to cho !
Published by Panini Manga and comprising 18 volumes, the manga Peach Girl ended in 2003 in Japan, and 3 years later here. But Peach Girl, after a 25-episode anime aired in 2005, had already not finished talking about him. And so it is today, after a Taiwanese drama in thirteen episodes dating from 2002 that a new adaptation in LIVE film will see the light of day!
Today, we discover the cast of four characters: Momo Adachi, Kairi Okayasu, Toji and Sae Kashiwagi, as well as the trailer of the movie LIVE! Note that a release date has already been announced! The movie LIVE Peach Girl is scheduled for May 20 in Japanese theaters!
Synopsis (from the anime)
Momo Adachi could be a high school student like any other. However, because of a high level of melanin, her skin tans as soon as she is exposed to the sun and because of her years of swimming, her hair has been bleached. Because of this, most people mistake her for a bimbo. She has been in love with Toji for a long time but, she is convinced that he does not like tanned girls and therefore decides to keep this love secret until his skin is whiter. When her friend Sae suspects her feelings, Momo, panicked, tells her that she is indeed in love and points to the first boy she sees: Kairi, the high school playboy. But Sae does not have as good intentions as it seems and will then follow the galleys and misunderstandings between Momo, Toji and Kairi.
