Leviathan: A chilling thriller in space
On January 6th, you will have the pleasure of discovering the brand new creation of ki-oon editions. 3 volumes are on the menu for this series. An interesting theme for a singular work: How to preserve one's humanity in the abyssal void of space? The artist behind Leviathan is Shiro Kuroi. The first pages show a titanic work in terms of the sets. Frieren: The Fantasy Revival
Fantasy has always had a large place in ki-oon. Frieren's upcoming arrival is a perfect example. This project is very specific since it responds to the new editorial policy of the famous magazine of Shogakukan. We train new mangaka from A to Z. They are headed by iconic references. Frieren's synopsis is relevant since it deals with the fate of the heroes after their victory against the villains. The idea is well done since the work of Kanehito YAMADA and Tsukasa ABE has gleaned some awards as manga of the year at the Manga Taishô Awards 2021 and winner of the Osamu Tezuka Award for the best novelty 2021. The first 2 issues are released on March 3, 2021. A collector's version is planned by Ki-oon for the 1st volume. It will include as a bonus: a reversible jacket and a mini-artbook.
