Ki-oon Editions have just announced the news on their official website. A new collection will be launched next year: the " Toon" collection! The latter should integrate South Korean titles and more particularly webcomics. Indeed, according to them:
"This type of publication requires authors to develop stories with multiple and regular twists, a constraint that gives the scenarios a surprising freshness and modernity! While remaining consistent with its catalogue, the Ki-oon team wishes to introduce French readership, in a hardcover, large format (15 x 21 cm) and 100% colour version, to some of these stories that fascinated them."
To illustrate their announcement, what better than the presentation of the first work that will integrate the Toon collection. So we present you Bastard !

Before being published in paper format, Bâtard was first available in digital format. Started 6 years ago, the series is available at WEBTOON. In view of the French and worldwide enthusiasm for Korean webcomics, the publisher Ki-oon has decided to create a collection to discover some of the nuggets published online. In addition, the series, by Carnby KIM and Youngchan HWANG, will consist of 5 volumes. The first volume will be available on March 14, 2021 at a price of €15.
