Fei, the only survivor of the massacre of his people, joins Nagi and heads with her to the great kingdom of East Garden in order to find allies to avenge his fellow men. Once at his destination, he will meet Prince Marc. But what will this meeting bring to young Fei?
The beginning of chaos!
This second volume plunges us into a world plagued by chaos and destruction. Indeed, from the first pages, East garden, the fortress of the east is invaded by a horde of goblins and soldiers of the empire! And this is only the beginning as the death toll continues to climb, until the tragic execution of the king. Indeed, it is from this event that our heroes will leave for a most dangerous adventure! This second volume is just as rhythmic as the first and very pleasant to discover. Action scenes follow quieter moments, without breaking the dynamism of the scenario. In addition, Fei, the main character, uses his knowledge to bend the empire. It becomes very pleasant when this happens since the techniques used are described and it is possible to find the people from whom it is inspired. For example, Fei uses a technique "The strategy of flaming cows". In his description, the author evokes Soun Hojo, the first daimyo of the Sengoku period and gives us an overview of Japanese history. In addition to being entertaining, this work is also historically enriching. Finally, twists and turns take place at various times, which makes it possible not to fall into a reading routine and to leave some doubts about the purpose of the events.
Interesting characters!
On the side of the characters, again, no disappointment. Indeed, the characters are worked and allow to appreciate all the more the scenario. In addition, concerning Fei, this character intrigues us a lot, whether by his childish side at times or by his military genius. The other characters are not to be outdone since Prince Marc and Nagi are also, among others, appreciable characters whose fate matters to us. Finally, new characters appear throughout the pages. The latter, although appearing recently, seem to be important to the story and are introduced in a fluid and refined way.
Pleasant drawings!
Finally, we will discuss Oda Serina's pencil stroke. For a first work, we must admit that we are conquered. Indeed, although the backgrounds are little worked, the characters are more! Whether you want to enjoy an action scene, a fight or rather observe the emotions of the characters, you should be satisfied. Indeed, the facial features are fine and neat and allow to imagine what the character can feel at a specific moment. However, it also happens that some boxes are simpler, with coarser characters. In addition, the atmosphere is also felt through the drawings, which makes the story even more captivating. Whether for chaotic scenes or more relaxing scenes, Oda Serina shows us all her talent through her drawings! Kingdom Of Knowledge T02 was very pleasant to discover. And we must admit that we are looking forward to the release of the next volume!
