The anime Vinland Saga is revealed through a first visual!

After the announcement concerning One Punch Man, it is the turn of the series of Makoto YUKIMURA to talk about it with the broadcast of a first visual! 

Indeed, it is on the official website of the series that we had the pleasure of discovering a first poster for the anime adaptation of Vinland Saga. On this first visual, we discover Askeladd, the main character of the series, on a drakkar (Viking ship) in the middle of winter.

About the broadcast date of the anime, it will be necessary to wait until 2019 to discover the first episodes of the series in Japan.

Regarding the anime staff, we will first find Wit Studio (Shingeki no Kyojin 3rd Season, Owari no Seraph) for the animation. On the production side, we find with pleasure YABUTA Shuhei (Inuyashiki, ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka). The character designer, meanwhile, is none other than ABIRU Takahiko (Days, Hunter x Hunter). Finally, the screenplay will be directed by IHARA Kenta and SEKO Hiroshi (Ajin: Shougeki, Inuyashiki)

 

Synopsis of the manga:

Ever since Askeladd, a deceitful and honorless warlord, killed his father as a child, Thorfinn has followed him everywhere in an attempt to exact revenge. But although he has become a formidable warrior, he still fails to defeat his enemy.
