Today, we focus on the DVD/BR publisher @Anime who will be present once again for Japan Expo!
Ghost in the Shell occupies a stronghold of Japanese pop culture this year in France. While the American live adaptation was released in March 2017 in our cinemas, @Anime offered a remastering of Mamoru Oishii's very first film from 1995 in high definition.And for its part, Glénat, the publisher of the manga offered a new edition of Shirow Masamune's work in a perfect large format edition.
But that's not all, since the video editor is also embarking on a new version of the animated adaptation Stand Alone Complex. Scheduled for September in all good points of sale, this box set will be available in preview at Japan Expo on the publisher's stand. This will also be an opportunity (if you come to the show) to have your edition signed by Kenji Kamiyama and Yoshiki Sakurai respectively director and writer of the series. This box set will contain the two seasons of the anime, the two OAVs (The Laugher and The Individual 11), a 144-page book and an exclusive interview with Kenji Kageyama. Invited by @Anime and Japan Expo, the two artists will be there to promote their latest film Hirune Hime which will be released in French cinemas on July 12th!
Kenji Kamiyama and Yoshiki Sarukai will perform a talk and live-drawing on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm on the Animé 100 stage! A moment not to be missed!
