The Ki-oon publishing house told us the good news on May 31st: Yami Shin, the Swiss author of Green Mechanic and Shonen, the French author of Outlaw Players will be present again this year at the Japan Expo. Signing sessions are planned for the four days of the event!

Post-apocalyptic science fiction for Yami Shin
Yami Shin is a young Swiss mangaka who has already proven herself! After winning the Ki-oon springboard in 2015, for her one-shot Revenge Reborn, it is with Green Mechanic that she won in 2017 the prize for best international manga at the Japan Expo Awards. The work is now in its third volume!
Green Mechanic Synopsis:
Human beings have turned their planet into a garbage-covered desert. The only habitable place is the Megalopolis, a giant city where men and robots are crammed, as well as the mysterious Ersatz, monstrous creatures hunted by the Militia. In this world in distress survives Misha, a young orphan with overdeveloped gifts of empathy. Unable to control her ability to read the emotions of others, she therefore stands apart from her peers. Yet it is thanks to this power that she finds Reborn, a morphing robot wandering without memory in the middle of a discharge.
This technological marvel is capable of adopting any appearance. Without hesitation, the girl makes him take the form of Mickael, her best friend, whom she has not heard from since he was kidnapped by a group of Ersatz ten years ago. Where do these creatures come from? And what happens to the ones they capture? No one knows… To find his companion, Misha joins the Reinforcements, a group of warriors and investigators peerless!
