Justfocus has prepared an exclusive interview with Strybo to share his talent with the world. Strybo started two years ago in the musical world. Now, she is known for her dance music. She uses according to her inspiration, sounds that refer us to Korean and Japanese Pop, but also to electro and rap. You will know through this interview his style of music, his passions, his collaborations and other news about him. Discover with us the electro music producer who is of Portuguese origin and born in Switzerland. Justfocus (JF): Where did the idea for your artist name Strybo come from? And what is its origin? Strybo: There are 9 years in music class at the vocational school. I learned that in the auditory structure we have the "stirrup" located in the middle ear. But in Brazilian Portuguese we say "stribo" so I thought it would be a good artistic name. At the time, it was for a punk-rock band (laughs)… Subsequently, I changed "Stribo" to "Strybo" (replacing "i" with "y"). JF: What are your plugins (to polish and add effects in instruments or vocals) and vsts (virtual instruments for composition) in your music production? Strybo: My plugins are ott, pro-L 2, soundtoys alterboy and echoboy, fruity parametric 2, fruity limiter and ozone 9 advanced. The vsts I use, I can't live without them in production, are xfer serum, kontakt and spire.

JF: We really liked your song "Bored" with music producer BTWRKS! Tell us what your inspirations were when you created this song?
Strybo: The song bored is sung by Ejae (who wrote the lyrics of the song Psycho Red Velvet) it is about toxic love that can be scary and boring. And my inspirations come from the instrumental of the song by More-k /da (a band that was created by the video game League of legends). Moreover, this music has been used by many South Koreans in videos on youtube. This is one of my goals for Asian audiences in 2022.

JF: Compared to the large number of male producers in the music industry, you as a woman, what do you think about belonging to the large female producer minority? Strybo: In the music market, there are few women who stand out, that's why I prefer collaborations with producers and vocalists. Because I am a fan of the Girl power phenomenon and thanks to that, men are as seduced as women by my music. I also have collaborations with On The Hunt, Dj Roha, Adeline Um, Alia Faye, etc. Which will be released in 2022. JF: Speaking of collaborations, what is your best collaboration so far? Strybo: This is a very difficult question. I love them all, my collaborations are all one of a kind. JF: For 2022, what will be your collaborations? Strybo: In 2022, it's going to be a year full of collaborations and diverse musical genres. I'm going to start a song with KAKE on the Lofi Jazz style, with Godmode and On The Hunt , Adeline Um, Creme, and others. 2022 is going to be a year full of surprises and I can't wait to broadcast his songs!! JF: What are your musical inspirations? Strybo: My inspirations are David Guetta with "life is gone". There were also other people like Hans Zimmer, Skrillex, Krewella, Troyboi, etc… JF: What are your plans for the future? How do you see yourself in 10 years? Strybo: In the music world, to do more collaborations and continue my work for the Asian public as was the case this year. On Spotify, my audience is Koreans and Japanese. In 10 years, I see myself as a businesswoman and not only, playing in the best festivals and collaborating with the best artists, as we say in English "dream collabs". JF: What would be your second choice of work? Srybo: Being in the marketing world or doing tutorials, and maybe also fashion designer. I would also like to lend my voice to manga characters. JF: What are your favorite hobbies ? What do you like to do in your daily life, apart from music? Strybo: I really like cooking, reading books, watching manga, playing video games, doing physical exercise, "workout". I also really like to do "graphic-design" and take online training. JF: Could you say in a few words what you want to say to your fans? Strybo: I am very grateful to them for constantly supporting me by sharing my music! It's surprising that my music is listened to all over the world! I love you all and I hope 2022 will be better. https://youtu.be/mAjQFDo5VLQ To listen to more Strybo, here is the list of songs on 1280px Spotify logo with text.svg e1638631863874 Interview exclusive - Strybo Interview with another new talent Meet DJ OG nix: "I fell in love with turntables".
