It is through the Anime HD facebook page that we learn the release of the animated film Hirune Hime in France!
This feature film named in the land of the rising sun Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari is scheduled for March 18, 2017 in Japanese theaters.
Produced by Signal MD (Cyborg 009 Call of Justice), this film is directed and written by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell – Stand Alone Complex). He is accompanied by Morikawa Sakoto (Eden of the East) on chara-design, and Shimomura Yoko on music (video games Kindgom Hearts, Xenoblade Chronicles, Final Fantasy XV).
Hirune Hime is distributed by Warner Bros and is planned in forty countries including the France. It will therefore benefit from a cinema release with us before being published on DVD/BR at @Anime! If for the moment no dates have been announced, there is no doubt that in the coming weeks, we will have more information, especially that Kenji Kamiyama will be with us for Japan Expo 2017.
