"Our Beloved Summer", the new romantic drama to watch at the beginning of 2022! Netflix is back in style with one of their latest warm creations to help us have a great winter with a touch of romance.

What is the cast of this drama?
If you are a fan of Korean cinema whether movies or series, the actors must seem familiar to you. Here are some of them. 
Kim Dami (김다미) as Kook Yeon-Su. She is known for her role as the lead actress in Itaeweon Class, the famous drama of 2020. 
Choi Woo Sik (최우식) as Choi Woong. He is known for his role as one of the main characters in the Korean film Parasite. 
Kim Seong Cheol (김성철) as Choi Ji-Woong. Like the two previous actors, the latter starred in a very popular drama in 2021: Vicenzo.

Synopsis:
Choi Woong and Kook Yeon-Su are two classmates who don't particularly like each other. In high school they shoot a documentary together that will become very viral on the web. It will bring them very close, so much so that they will fall in love with each other. Unfortunately this relationship will end with the promise of never seeing each other again. However, 10 years after the documentary filmed together in high school, the ex-couple will be confronted to meet again to shoot a new documentary together, filmed by their producer friend. The two ex-lovers will have to meet again for a long time… What will happen?
The Drama Soundtrack / OST:
- Christmas Tree by Taehyung/V (BTS): This is the main title of the drama. The melody is quite soft, which fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the drama, but especially in moments when Choi Woong needs a moment of peace.

- Squabble by Ha Sung Woon: This is one of the most rhythmic titles of the drama. Just like the previous one, it addresses the subject of love, but unlike "Christmas Tree" it is present in the romantic moments of the two lovers when they were young.
- Why by Janet Suhh: This track is the last one on the album. It is also rhythmic and it appears especially at the end of the episodes.

Impressions
- First we can say that Kim Dami, the actress who plays the role of Kook Yeon-Su, embodies her character perfectly. She brings it to life in an incredible way just like in her character, quite cold at the beginning, in Itaewon Class.
- Secondly, the atmosphere of the sets has been very well thought out and puts us in the bath of the summer season. This shows us the purity of the series as well as the freshness of the romance between our two accomplices.
- Thirdly, we can say that the proverb that says "opposites attract" is confirmed in this drama. The romance between the two young people shows us that it is possible to have differences in a relationship without being toxic.
The pace of the drama can sometimes be boring but it is worth watching!
A little information:
Choi Woo-Sik and Kim Dami, the two main actors had already collaborated together in a 2018 movie called " The Witch: Part 1" as main characters as well.
"Our Beloved Summer" is a very pure drama in every sense: romance, drama, comedy in others. It really stands out compared to other Korean series, which brings its originality just like "Lovestruck in the city", another drama available on Netflix. We highly recommend it!
