Dragon Quest: What's it about?
"15 years ago, Hadlar, the Evil King, who terrorized the world with his hordes of monsters, was defeated by a great hero. Freed from its evils, the monsters began to live quietly again on a small island in the South Seas, the island of Dermline. It was on this island that Dai was raised, by his adoptive grandfather Brass. Dai is a 12-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a hero and protecting the island, while his grandfather, a wise incubus of about 180 years, wants him to be a mage at all costs. But Dai is not good at magic… "
An adaptation to the height!
This adaptation is very openly inspired by the universe of the video game saga Dragon Quest. The most familiar will not be disappointed and will recognize with ease the winks to video games. In addition, it is the second adaptation of the manga. Indeed, the oldest of you were able to watch FLY, the first animated version of Dai's adventures. However, it only covered the first 9 volumes of the manga. 
With this new version, the anime will certainly be declined in several seasons of about twenty episodes each. For our greatest pleasure!
