They stick together so that he separates from his girlfriend Cho. But it will not remain idle and without taking then to Aiko. But the mysterious death of Eri gives way to a completely different atmosphere from a lambda daily life to a police intrigue. And the arrival of I.A replacement the real Eri turns to the creepy with a great mystery around this application so particular. Aiko can't seem to survive without her new friend who looks like her dead friend… A serious subject that questions us about the hidden meaning of social networks and our addiction that can sometimes cause death!
A strong character
If at the beginning the manga is more oriented towards slice of life and the school side, everything goes crescendo as we advance in the story. The strong point lies in our heroine who is far from perfect and hides many things from us. In addition, the presence of her comrades gives an oppressive atmosphere due to the fact that they almost all put her aside. For a first series, Miki Makasu and Otosan were able to give us food for thought while making us want to follow this manga made in France. Otosan has a beautiful pencil stroke and we feel the distress, discomfort and feelings released by his characters, not hesitating to show weaknesses. As for the scenario, the flashbacks allow us to feel a certain empathy for Eri and Aiko as well as to discover the motivations of each. The world of adults and adolescents, however, remains separated by a white line that deserves to be erased.
Double.Me is a French manga that shows inventiveness and reflection for its readers. An atmosphere that becomes darker and darker and moves away from the starting points for your greatest pleasure!
