A refreshing cover, like the first volume
The cover of this volume 1 is representative of the first chapters and the spirit of the work. Indeed, it stages the two protagonists in their respective roles. First Oh Sol, in her cleaning lady's uniform, scruffy and dirty from hair to shoes. She is so focused on her cleaning task that she doesn't even notice all the mess she causes in her path. With Clean With Passion , the Kbooks collection presents a shôjo as we like them, with the same figuration of an imagination specific to readers made of flowers, ribbons and dresses that flutter, young girls with big sparkling eyes and words that follow one another on the page. Yet here, it is not so simple. Indeed, Clean With Passion is not a manga but a manhwa, a Korean comic. It doesn't change much except the reading direction and colors. Endearing and engaging characters
After relying all her life on the fairies of the household, we follow Oh Sol in her apprenticeship to become one! At first glance, Oh Sol appears to be a perfect girl. With her hair in the wind and her eyes shining, she is like all shojo protagonists. However, as we advance in our reading, we quickly realize that it is far from perfect, quite the contrary! A rather messy young girl with her head in the air, Oh Sol lands in a cleaning company although she does not know much about it. Having already struggled to take care of herself, how would she be able to take care of a business? Despite all her efforts, she constantly finds herself in situations that will attract the wrath of her boss a little too manic. Tired of, sometimes even frightened, of her and her clumsiness, he will try to get her fired by any means. Unlike her, Sun Gyeol is a pretentious, meticulous and famous man who seems quite confident in everyday life. On the other hand, he loses his means as soon as he is in the presence of dirt. An atypical love story
