What happened for BTS in 2021
2021 has been a very special and eventful year for the boys. The release of their latest album "BE" will be a great success in South Korea but also abroad. Following the famous single "Dynamite" completely in English, BTS continues in this momentum by releasing two other songs entitled: "Butter" and "Permission To Dance". https://youtu.be/CuklIb9d3fI https://youtu.be/WMweEpGlu_U These two very rhythmic and pop songs will allow them to win many awards (especially "Butter") in Korean ceremonies such as the "Mnet Asian Music Awards" or the American Music Awards. The boys will also perform their single "Permission To Dance" at the UN. On September 30, 2021 something unexpected will happen. Codplay and Bts released a single together titled "My Universe"; The two artists are not yet aware of the success they will have thanks to this title Far of 2021. In France for example, the song or rather the two artists, wins a prize at the NRJ Music Awards on November 21, 2021, in the category of the best collaboration. Following this continuous success and a work without break, the BTS decide to take a vacation. A break of three months quite deserved for the septet who works hard, to give the best of themselves to their ARMY. Big Hit Music announced this new break on Twitter:
"We would like to inform you that BTS plans to take a second official extended rest period since the first in 2019, after completing their scheduled official events of 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA' and the '2021 Jingle Ball Tour'."
What happened after this break?
Following the press release announcing their break, the seven boys decided to open a personal Instagram account. This makes the ARMY very happy because they can interact more easily with their favorite singers. But also because it allows each BTS member to manage their own presence on social networks. 
But that's not all. As promised, BTS were able to perform with an audience at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul. Which certainly must have missed them, following the 2 years of pandemic that physically cut them off from their Korean fans. Fortunately, they were able to perform in Los Angeles during the 4 concerts at the end of 2021, igniting the SoFi stadium. (Seen by approximately 813,000 people on four sold-out shows, making it one of the most successful shows of 2021 source). It was the first concert of the "Permission To Dance Tour On Stage". Unfortunately for the concert in Seoul everything did not go as planned. Let's see why.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- First information to remember is that the boy band performed for the first time since 2019 (World Tour Speak Yourself), in front of its South Korean fans despite an outbreak of the Omicron variant. Tickets sold out at a blatant speed, following distancing measures.
- Second interesting information is that during the concert, the ARMY were not allowed to sing, dance or scream. They could just move their arms with their ARMY BOMB (lightstick). These guidelines came from BTS' label, Big Hit Music. They applied to the three dates of the "Permission to dance on stage" tour, i.e. March 10, 12 and 13.
- Third important information is that a few hours before the concert, two members of the band spoke following the restrictions put in place during the concert. "The voice conveys a certain energy and I wonder if clapping can be enough," said group member Jung Ho-seok, whose stage name is J-Hope. "We really want to hear the voices of our fans, but we are grateful and happy to be able to meet them and see their faces," added Kim Tae-hyung, known as V.
OTHER INFORMATION:
In addition, this concert has been shown in some cinemas in France, Spain, more… In France fans had the opportunity to see the concert in the Pathé Gaumont cinemas on March 12th. Two slots were proposed: one at 9:45 live with the Seoul concert, then another at 13:45 in replay mode. The atmosphere of the concert at the cinemas was absolutely not the same as in Seoul. The ARMY were able to dance in front of the screen and follow the concert with the BTS as if they were present. A pleasant and joyful atmosphere to have a good time.
Other BTS projects
Following this break, we were treated to two unreleased songs by two members of BTS. The first is the soundtrack of the drama "Our Beloved Summer", "Christmas Tree" performed by V (Taehyung). While the Maknae of the septet, Jungkook performs "Stay Alive" the soundtrack of the webtoon inspired on the boys "7 Fates: CHAKHO". Two songs that conquered all fans. During this period of absence the septet was able to rest to come back in force. As the label had indicated in the press release, a new album is to be expected and in progress. We also hope that there are new dates for a concert "Permission To Dance on stage". A concert in Paris would not be excluded.
BTS are good artists of all kinds. They conquer the hearts of the ARMY by occupying them and giving them unique moments. Let's hope they never change!
