Jujutsu Kaisen
In Jujustsu Kaisen, we are immersed in a Japan where negative feelings such as fear, humiliation or regret generate deadly curses and create supernatural monsters called: Scourge. We follow Yuji Itadori, a high school student and member of the occult club. His club is in possession of a super powerful relic, it is the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, the strongest of the demons. Inevitably, this finger attracts the lust of all plagues. To break the curse, Yuji decides to eat the finger! While we thought he would die, he survives and keeps control of his body! He then joins the school of exorcism and is responsible for recovering the other fingers of the demon before the other plagues. Released in France autumn on the Crunchyroll platform, Jujutsu Kaisen is the manga event of this end of the year. A real hit in Japan, it is seen as one of the next big action shonen. His strengths: His charismatic characters. In addition, this dark and cold universe that would make more than one shudder! On the animation side, it is the Mappa studio that is behind the machines. The fights are also a strong point of the anime. The first episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen only bode well for the future. 
Dragon Quest: Dai's Quest
Dragon Quest: Dai's Quest is a remake of Fly, an anime released in 1991. In this anime, we follow the adventures of Dai a young orphan of Dermline, a small island populated by gentle monsters. While Brass, his grandfather, wants him to become a powerful mage, Dai aspires to become a hero. This is how we will follow Dai's quest, alongside Pop and Maam, who will be far from any rest because he will quickly report on the hostility of the world around him. Indeed, he will have to face the terrible legion of darkness led by the lord of evil: Hadlar. Dragon Quest deserves to be seen, on the one hand for the wind of nostalgia it brings with it, but also because this adaptation really gives pep to the manga. However, we could regret this side a little too Manichean of shonen which is a little dated and also the unfolding of the plot somewhat expeditious at times. Apart from these few details, Dragon Quest: Dai's Quest is undoubtedly one of the animes to see this year. 
Attack of the Titans season 4
Released very recently, the final season of Attack on Titan is finally available. This event literally shook the web to the point of crashing the Wakanim site on the day of the release of the episode. The first episode received some mixed reviews regarding the bias for animation. Indeed, the studio Mappa, in charge of this last season, has decided to animate the titans in CGI. Something that rarely pleases fans. However, overall, the episode was successful. New plot, new characters, new settings, this season still has a lot of surprises to bring. The only flaw is that after the last episode, there will be no others… And that's sad. As you can see, this last season is a must this year. 
My Hero Academia season 4
We continue in the anime sequels. MHA season 4 was also highly anticipated. And the least we can say is that we were not disappointed! Although uneven at times, this season has offered us epic moments. In this arc, we find our favorite student superheroes facing a large-scale threat: A band of yakuza led by a certain Chisaki, recognizable by his mask (this is topical even in anime) and his fur coat. This season will make you vibrate, cry, scream, you will go through all the possible emotions. Especially since we finally see the famous Big Three, led by Mirio, take action. In short, do not miss this blockbuster. 
Fire Force Season 2
This season 2 of Fire Force was particularly anticipated because the anime is one of the good surprises of 2019. The crazy adventures of firefighters of the 8th brigade have pleased fans who were looking for a sequel for this original world. Its colorful and quirky universe is the main strength of Fire Force. If the manga does not necessarily shine with its scenario, it makes up for it by its originality. Indeed, few animes address the theme of firefighters. But its strong point is above all its absurd humor and the funny situations in which our heroes put themselves. We take the same and start over. The God of High School
Little surprise of this year. Unlike previous anime, The God of High School is adapted from a manhwa, a Korean manga. Indeed, the latter have experienced a peak of popularity in the world. They are mostly published on the Webtoon website, the reference site for online reading in Korea. Manwha have exploded internationally thanks to strong works such as Solo Leveling for example. It is the Mappa studio that is behind the animation of The God of High School ( them again! ). Broadcast on Crunchyroll, this anime is 100% fight and nothing else! If you are looking for an anime with background, a gripping plot, go your way. In The God of High School, we follow the adventures of Jin Mori, a high school student skilled at fighting. His life changes when he participates in a tournament held at his high school, which will determine who is the strongest in high school. The winner will have all his wishes granted. Clearly, this anime will surely allow neophytes to get started to discover the manwha and their delusions more offbeat than traditional manga.
