And OST lovers will enjoy the latest dispatch: The vinyl edition of the soundtrack is released on November 6. The long-awaited spin-off will be released by Sony Masterworks/Milan Records. To analyze the musical part of Cowboy Bebop is to dive into the meanders of a particularly rich world, which is distinguished by the presence of different registers such as blues, bossa nova, heavy metal, jazz and J-pop. Who has never vibrated listening to the ultra-rhythmic credits of Tank that sets the tone of the entire animated series? Yoko Kanno is the legendary composer behind the extraordinary result delivered on the original series sountrack. Her work on Cowboy bebop is remarkable because she was able to create a quality score that brilliantly mixes elements from various musical horizons. The music as on many works plays an essential role in this production. Shin'ichirō Watanabe and Yoko Kanno were inspired by each other's work in the creative process. When we see the result of the meeting of these two geniuses… As part of this project, Yoko Kanno is credited with the Seatbelts. These are musicians from different parts of the world hired by the composer. The Big Band welcomes some artists like Mai Yamane, Soichiro Otsuka, Steve Conte… It's hard not to feel emotion when you listen to Cowboy Bebop songs.
