Bonus / Thomas ROMAIN, the author of Family Traits invited by Kurokawa
If manga and anime have an important part in Japanese pop-culture, other segments are to be discovered and it is from this desire that the new Kuropop collection from the publisher Kurokawa was born. It will begin in March with two books La Magie du rangement illustré by Marie Kondo and Traits de famille by Itsuki, Ryonosuke and Thomas Romain. It is this second title that interests us here, since Thomas ROMAIN who is a French artistic director and designer based in Japan, gives us his passion for drawing within his family with his children.
These signing sessions will take place at Kurokawa's booth at location 1-R46, as long as you have a ticket that can be obtained at the publisher's booth:
- Saturday, March 17 from 2pm to 4.30pm
- Sunday, March 18 from 2pm to 4pm
With this 2018 edition, the Paris Book Fair shows that in terms of manga guests, it is a real alternative to Japan Expo! It becomes a must for fans of the manga, and going there with family is quite interesting given the diversity of the publishers present, with tastes that can diverge within a family.
