As we promised you during our recent guide to live-action adaptations, it's the turn of 3D Kanojo: Real Girl to enter the scene. When a lonely otaku meets a classmate who helps him, what will happen?
First, let's talk a bit about manga. It is once again a question of a shojo, the genre being much appreciated by the public both female and male.
3D Kanojo: Real Girl is written by Nanami Mao specialized in the field to whom we owe many other works such as U-18, Hime Mama! or Half & Half. Unfortunately, it remains unpublished in France. But rest assured, because we have another piece of good news.
Indeed, in addition to the feature film we have an anime in preparation. The manga will offer us in 2018 not one but two adaptations for 3D Kanojo: Real Girl ; What console those who do not know the manga.
The staff of the anime is far from complete and it is still unknown which studio will be retained. However, we will still find Naoya Takashi (Touken Ranbu – Hanamaru) directing.
3D Kanojo: Real Girl, the Live Action
Now it's time to discuss the Live adaptation of this manga in more detail. Warner Bros Japan got the rights, and on the staff side there is no need to say, there are beautiful people.
Our two young main characters will be: Ayami Nakajo who we saw this year in Anonymous Noise.
As well as Hayato Sano.He will play the otaku we met last year in the J-Drama Suna no Tou. However, he is not unknown to women since he is part of the J-Pop group M!LK. The said group that started in 2014 has five members: Sano Hayato, Itagaki Mizuki, Shiozaki Daichi, Yoshida Jinto.
Tsutomu Hanabusa to whom we owe Miseinen Dakedo Kodomo Janai (Married but, not too much) will be in charge of the realization.
The release date in Japan, however, is still undetermined, the information coming out in dribs and drabs!
Synopsis
Hikaru Tsutsui is a high school student, what he loves more than anything is in the virtual world (Japanese animation and video games). While he hates his real life to the point, the people at his school don't even know he exists. One day, when he is forced to clean the pool of his school, he finds himself working in tandem with the beautiful Iroha Ikarashi. Iroha approaches Hikaru and confesses an amazing thing, she likes him.
