Leiji Matsumoto made us dream with "Albator", his famous space pirate. After "24 stories from a distant time", here is a new collection of 25 short stories that allows us to continue exploring the genesis of the Matsumoto universe!
Always in an interstellar environment, we find the themes dear to the author and which form the basis of all his work: the defense of nature, the fight for life, openness to others, the flaws of the human being! We already find all the magic and mastery of this master of manga and allows you to contemplate the evolution of his work through time (and space)!Spring: Kana
The beginning of the year seems to be the perfect time for Kana to bring out their great authors! In 2015, the reissue of Jiro Taniguchi's cult summit of the Gods was released. In 2016, it was the turn of Master Keaton Remaster (Naoki Urasawa) and in 2017, it was the title A Woman of Showa by Kazuo Kamimura that was honored.
It is therefore no real surprise that Leiji Matsumoto will make his comeback through Kana editions in 2018. On the program, 25 stories of a world in 4 dimensions, a one-shot in the vein of 24 stories of a distant time released in 2014 , also available at Kana.A title that allows us to (re)discover the Matsumoto universe and the bases of what will become a few years later, the Albator saga. Published in 1968 by Shogakukan, this title is composed of a multitude of short stories touching on space, as well as other themes close to its heart, such as survival or ecology.
Three years later, Leiji Matsumoto and his 25 stories of a 4-dimensional world is about to hit Kana editions. A work that would be good to see under the tree, even with a little delay!
