Championship games during the week? EH yes, there were games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. But also Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you missed them, don't panic. Here is a tour of Europe of the five main European championships. Justfocus summarizes the days of the past week in the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Liga and Premier League. Like last week, we will start our European tour of the five main championships with Germany.
Bundesliga (Germany)
There was no match of this championship at the beginning of the week. On the other hand, we were able to follow the 14th day this weekend.
European places in the lead

Serie A (Italy)
Let's continue our tour of Europe of the five main championships by Italy.
Hierarchy respected
The 15th day of the championship began on Tuesday. The opportunity for the poorly ranked to earn points for the race to maintain. Unfortunately for them, neither Sampdoria Genoa (15th), nor Venice (16th), nor Salernitana (20th) take points. Beaten respectively by Fiorentina (6th), Atalanta (4th) and Juventus Turin (5th). On the other hand, Cagliari (19th) gets a draw that looks like a victory on the lawn of Hellas Verona (10th).
The podium revived
Wednesday, apart from Bologna (9th) who won at home 1-0 against AS Roma (7th). In the rest of the matches, the hierarchy in the championship standings is still respected. Inter Milan (2nd) beat La Spezia (17th) 2-0. AC Milan (1st) won 0-3 on the pitch of Genoa (18th). However, the surprise comes from Napoli, who are held in check 2-2 on the ground of Sassuolo (12th).
Full equality
On Thursday, both games ended in draws. But the evening is rich in goals. There are 12 goals that are scored. Torino (13th) and Empoli (11th) split 2-2. While the meeting between Lazio Roma (8th) and Udinese (14th) ends on a 4-4 that will leave regrets to the Roman team. IN SUMMARY: A day that did not cause a change in the championship standings. But it will have weakened the leadership of Naples.
Day 16
In Italy, there was in addition to the 15th, the 16th day of the championship this week.
Change in mind
Saturday at 3pm, the war for the top of the championship standings began. AC Milan (1st), who remain on a victory in Serie A, can provisionally take the place of leader. On Sunday, the results still respect the championship standings. Bologna (9th) lost 2-3 against Fiorentina (6th). Venice (16th) suffered a second defeat 3-4 against Hellas Verona (10th). Lazio Roma (7th) won 1-3 on the pitch of Sampdoria of Genoa (15th). Juventus is the only team of the evening to win their home match 2-0 against Genoa (18th). IN SUMMARY: Two days passed in Serie A. There is no change in the provisional relegated. On the other hand, the race for the title is once again revived.
Ligue 1 (France)
Our European tour of the five main championships now ends in France, where it is the 16th and 17th day of the championship. All matches of the 16th matchday took place on Wednesday evening. At 7pm, the first matches began, while it was necessary to wait until 9pm for the others.
At the relaunch
Monaco (7th) and Troyes (15th) are doing well. The Monegasques won 1-3 against Angers (8th) and thus recovered in terms of points with the teams at the top of the ranking. While the Trojans win against Lorient (16th) and move away from the relegation zone.
The bottom of the ranking
One more game to forget for the last of the championship. Starting with the greens who are the unlucky ones of the evening. Indeed, Saint-Etienne is defeated 1-0 in Brest (10th) following a penalty for a hand in the box. For its part, Bordeaux (18th) is completely drowned 5-2 on the field of Strasbourg (6th). Yet they had opened the scoring. Same for Metz (19th) who lost at home 1-3 against Montpellier (9th). The race to Europe
Lyon (12th) hosted Reims (14th) with the hope of relaunching itself in the race for European places. But once again this season, Lyon were trapped and lost 1-2, a match that was within their reach. At the Parc des Princes, on the other hand, the draw between PSG (1st) and Nice (4th) looks like a victory for the Côte d'Azur. 
A new dolphin?
Lens and Nice did not win. The provisional 2nd place will be played between Marseille and Rennes. The Bretons have the opportunity to strengthen its place in the championship standings. Especially that the red and blacks receive Lille (11th) who remains on a series of 6 games without victory in L1. But Rennes (2nd) does not find the solution against solid Lille and falls 1-2 on its ground. While OM (3rd) chains a second consecutive success by beating Nantes 0-1. IN SUMMARY: Wednesday evening, we had a new provisional relegation: Bordeaux and a new runner-up: Olympique de Marseille.
Saturday, looks a bit like Wednesday
On Saturday, OM (3rd) opens the 17th day by hosting Brest (10th) at the velodrome as the runner-up of the championship. But the Phocaeans could not defend their place. Brest won 1-2 and signed a record for the club with a 6th consecutive success this season. If for the Marseillais, Saturday does not look like Wednesday, it is the case, for Paris (1st) and Lille (11th). The Parisians have a 2nd draw 1-1 in Lens (5th) and Lille, a 2nd victory against Troyes (15th) at home.
And Sunday too…
On Sunday, Montpellier (9th) also won its second victory in a row 1-0 against Clermont (18th). Just like Monaco (7th) who dominates at home 4-0 Metz (19th). And Strasbourg (6th) who won 0-3 on the field of Nice (4th).
But not for everyone
Fortunately for Rennes (2nd) Sunday does not look like Wednesday. The Bretons regain 2nd place, thanks to a clear 0-5 victory on the lawn of Saint-Etienne (20th). 
This is also the case of Nantes (13th) who beat 0-1 Lorient (16th) whose 6th defeat in a row this season. And Angers (8th) who won 1-2 on the field of Reims (14th). SUMMARY: Rennes and Marseille have replaced each other as runners-up, but the Bretons finally remain in place. Ditto, for Bordeaux and Clermont for the first place of non-relegable. Montpellier, Strasbourg and Monaco are the big winners of the week with two victories.
La Liga (Spain)
Spain is the next country in our European tour of the five main championships. In Spain, only one match was played on Wednesday. This is a late match of the 9th day of the championship. A meeting between Real Madrid (1st) and Athletic Bilbao (9th). A match that saw the Merengues win in pain 1-0. 
Keeping in sight
The 16th matchday of La Liga, opened Friday with an important match for the maintenance. Granada (15th) received Alavès (17th). Enough to distance yourself from the relegation zone. Granada eventually won 2-1, allowing the team to overtake Alavès in the league standings.
Europe still Europe
The main thing for many teams in the league is to reach the European places. This is the case of Seville (2nd) who want to keep their 2nd place. The whites and reds welcome Villareal (13th). Sevilla won 1-0 and thus strengthened their place on the podium. Europe is also the objective of Barcelona (7th) and Bétis Seville (3rd). Both teams want to reduce the distance separating them from the leading duo. And in this battle, Betis wins. The match ended 0-1, and represented Xavi's first defeat in charge of Barça. 
A goal that Atletico Madrid (4th) is also aiming for. So it was a huge surprise to see Mallorca (12th) win the match 1-2 and end Atletico's 14-game unbeaten run at home. Real Madrid, moved on the lawn of Real Sociedad. The opportunity for the leader to widen the gap at the top of La Liga and follow up with a sixth success in a row. An opportunity that the Merengues do not let slip. The match ended in a 0-2 draw and gave Real Madrid an 8-point lead. SUMMARY: A great week for Real, who with two victories are more than ever, as a solid leader of the championship. Barça made a bad operation in its recovery and moved away from the European places.
Premier League (England)
We end our European tour of the five major leagues with England.
Avoiding relegation
On Tuesday, two games were played in the race to maintain. First, Newcastle (20th) can leave the last place in the league by beating Norwich (18th). But the Magpies did not seize the opportunity. Indeed, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, Leeds (15th) moved away from the relegation zone by winning 1-0 at home against Crystal Palace (12th).
The top 3
On Wednesday, the three leaders of the champion win, but not really easily. First, Chelsea (1st) won in pain 1-2 on the field of Watford (17th). Then, Liverpool (3rd) beat Everton (14th) on the score of 1-4. Finally, Manchester City (2nd) defended its place on the podium by winning with difficulty 1-2 on the lawn of Aston Villa (13th). 
Places for Europe
On Thursday, Tottenham (6th) hosted Brentford (12th) and Manchester United (7th) hosted Arsenal (5th). Two important matches for the race for European places. In the end, it's the home teams that take the lead. Tottenham won 2–0. While United won 3-2. SUMMARY: A 14th day that sees the top 3 still win even in difficulty. While Arsenal lost two places following their defeat.
Change of podium
Saturday at 13:30, the 15th day opens with West Ham (4th) who receives Chelsea who is leader of the championship. The Hammers topple the Blues, after being led 2 times. Chelsea fall 3-2 and risk losing the lead in the league. Especially since at 16h, begins the match between Wolverhampton (8th) and Liverpool (2nd). The Reds are scaring themselves. But they snatch a success (0-1) capital at the last second. Liverpool then provisionally takes 1st place in the league table. The first place of this day is therefore played on the field of Watford (17th) which hosts Manchester City. It's no surprise that the Citizens won 1-3, in a match they dominated. A victory that makes City the leader of the championship. 
Battle for maintenance
This day is also an opportunity to see changes at the bottom of the rankings. Indeed, the 20th Newcastle receives the 18th Burnley. Enough to revive the war of places for maintenance. The Magpies won 1-0 this meeting essential for their survival in the Premier League.
Objective: Europe
Sunday 3pm, Manchester United (6th) hosts Crystal Palace (13th) to stay in the race for European places. The Reds do not miss and win 1-0. At the same time, Tottenham (5th) responds to Manchester by easily winning 3-0 against Norwich (20th) Monday, the day ended with the match between Everton (12th) and Arsenal (7th).
