4 types of visa you can choose according to your projects:
- The tourist visa: it is valid for 1 month. It is free but does not allow you to work on site.
- The student visa: It is made for those who plan to study there. This project must be justified by the joining of documents, i.e. the name of the school, the curriculum and the dates. With this visa, it is possible to work on site, but it must not exceed 20 or 25 hours of work per week. This visa is granted according to the duration of the studies.
- The business visa: It is granted for tourism or for a professional purpose, it includes conferences, negotiations, appointments. It is not granted if you work for an Australian company. It is valid for 1 year from the date of obtaining the visa for a stay of up to 3 months.
- The working holiday visa: It offers the possibility to stay 1 year on the territory. It allows you to work, to organize your walks throughout the country so to alternate work and adventure. This visa is renewable provided you have worked for three months on a farm. It can be applied for up to the age of 32.
Visa applications are made online, 30 days in advance, on the Australian government website. Responses are usually given quickly within 15 days. The last three visas are subject to payment.
