For 50 years now, Fip radio has been well established in the music station sector thanks to their hosts and the diversity of music programming. Since 1971, FIP has been present in the hearts of its listeners, a "pioneer" radio for many French people. In November 2020, it reached 13 million users thanks to a positive evolution of 17% of listeners in one year. Figures that justify their third place for the most listened to digital radio in France.

A story of women …
An initiative was born thanks to Roland Dhordain, director of radio and television, and producers Jean Garretto and Pierre Codou, that of choosing only female hosts within their radio.
A musical radio interspersed with the hosts, also called the "fipettes" presenting road and cultural information. Within this club of fipettes, striking voices such as that of Kriss, animator of Portraits sensible, or Simone Hérault, today the iconic voice of the SNCF.
It is an avant-garde radio station committed to equality, highlighting and involving women in the music sector. In addition, the soft voices of the facilitators are one more reason to follow FIP.
