Yesterday was the premiere of the excellent French series Dix pour Cent. A few hundred privileged spectators were able to see the complete season 4 at the UGC Normandie on the Avenue des Champs Elysées. The team from the series was also present. This Friday, October 16, the complete season 4 was screened in Paris, as part of the Series Mania Festival. The Angoulême Francophone Film Festival and Canneséries had only screened the first episodes of this French nugget.Laurence Herszberg, general director of the Series Mania Festival, launched this "last evening together in a theater". This follows Emmanuel Macron's announcement of the curfew last Wednesday. The actors Liliane Rovère, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel and Stéphane Freiss were present, including the time of the screening. They were accompanied by Dominique Besnehard, producer of the series, and Marc Fitoussi to direct. Later in the evening, Laure Calamy joined the room.
A standing ovation for the final season
Marc Fitoussi then recalled that "the realization of a series is to go fast, very fast". Indeed, an episode of Ten Percent is shot in eleven days. The actors, meanwhile, made the audience's mouths water before the session began. Thibault de Montalembert has announced that there could well be "a little more compassion" for Mathias, the formidable agent he embodies. For him, it is also "more interesting to play the villain". Grégory Montel, for his part, highlighted the remarkable writing of this season, containing "exceptional arches". Again, Dix pour Cent can boast of having a four-star cast for this final season. Charlotte Gainsbourg, Sigourney Weaver and Jean Reno have each joined the team for one episode. The scenes of actresses Laure Calamy and Camille Cottin, elicited many laughs in the room, as well as many applause. The audience was particularly receptive and conquered by this new season, with its lively and rhythmic writing and careful realization.
