The Mandalorian season 2 episode 4 is available. Unsurprisingly, the episode decides to follow a different route than the one discussed in the previous chapter. Obviously, no Ahsoka Tano in sight, still no Boba Fett, but Moff Gideon is back in the game. Focus on an additional transition episode with a little final surprise.

The Mandalorian: classic formula

Unfortunately, we suspected that this new opus would not directly deliver the famous Jedi announced in the previous episode. We suspected that Jon Favreau would make us yearn for an unbearable wait and take us on additional side quests. That's kind of the recipe The Mandalorian : an episode that advances the overall plot, and a transitional episode where Mando will play with creatures of all kinds. This time, no monster, but a horde of Stormtroopers still stupid to the delight of fans. In short, this chapter 12 offers nothing very innovative. Mando lands on a planet, meets his former allies, who ask him for help. And here he is again embarked on a mission that does not concern him. We know the music. And it gets a bit redundant, isn't it? Review "The Mandalorian" season 4 episode 4: a new chapter of transition Directed by Carl Weathers, the man who plays Greef Karga in the series, this new episode offers some seductive visual flashes. This new opus offers some action scenes largely controlled, and some superb shots, like a chase rather well done. But if not a pleasant sweet, this episode 4 acts as a mouth hole, especially after the previous episode.

A last mysterious plan

Basically, a mission that we swing a little, which fills a certain scripting void that sometimes begins to weigh quite big on the evolution of the show. Did we really want to see Baby Yoda use force to steal buttons from a small fat person? Unsure… Chapter 11 finally advanced the plot and offered some interesting elements, which will therefore be kept in suspense. Carl Weathers attaches the wagon in extremis with a last shot quite evocative. A last-minute connection where Moff Gideon stands in front of what appears to be an army of black Stormtroopers, already crossed in Rogue One. Apparently, and SPOILER ALERT, the Empire would use Baby Yoda's DNA to create a new army of new soldiers. END OF SPOILER. An incongruous project that still worries about its lack of script renewal compared to the films of the franchise. We hope to be wrong and that Jon Favreau has something bigger and more amazing in store for his viewers. Review "The Mandalorian" season 4 episode 4: a new chapter of transition In fact, we still expect a little more from this series, aesthetically perfect, endearing sweet candy, but which still has difficulty managing its rhythm and the elements of its plot. Because, between the black lightsaber, Moff Gideon, the Mandalorians, Baby Yoda, this army of new clones and Ahsoka Tano, it makes them elements to deal with. And one question remains. How do you give credibility to all this in four episodes? And the answer is obvious: Jon Favreau will not answer all the questions in this second season. So, the bets are still open: will we really see the former Jedi again? In short, a shared opinion on this episode 4 of The Mandalorian. The action sequences sell dreams, but this new chapter creates a gap compared to the scripted contribution of the previous one. More questions than answers are presented, new elements are introduced, but "damn" what does Boba Fett do? https://youtu.be/ix4PSE7G5rY
