Chaired by Keren Ann, the jury of artists of the Prix Joséphine unveiled today the list of the ten best albums of the year 2022. Founded by Frédéric Junqua and Christophe Palatre, the Prix Joséphine is an independent prize that aims to celebrate French musical production in its total diversity. Its objective is to discover the most significant works of the year and to offer visibility to artists and their albums. No less than 315 albums were registered for this very first edition for 40 selected by a committee of journalists from various musical genres. Pop, rap, electro, neo-classical or French song, the list was established by the president of the jury Keren Ann, the beatmaker Guilty, the duo l'Impératrice, DJs Chloé and Myd, but also Numah, Imany, Oxmo Puccino, Doriand, Sage and Bénédicte Schmitt. The ten albums nominated:

- Hymn to the Sun – Laurent Bardainne and Freshwater Tiger
- Tancade – Gaspar Claus
- Troy – Malik Djoudi
- Exquisite Corpse – Eesah Yasuke
- Oceanic Feeling – Koki Nakano
- Bedroom Walls – November Ultra
- Civilization – Orelsan
- The Cirque de Consolation – Léonie Pernet
- Segunda Temporada – Zuukou Mayzie
