MASSTØ, the trio between rock and vintage soul, hits the mark once again with Misery, an excellent live session that makes us a fan of this band from Amiens that we follow closely at Jusfocus. The band is back with its second EP ĀPĪ which is scheduled for release on 16/10/2021 at Take It Easy Agency. For 4 years, the trio MASSTØ imposes its unique signature and its sound power between blues, rock and soul… Human and musical coincidence, introspection and romanticized reality, since their meeting the PowerSoulTrio catalogs, archives and gathers everyday life … Peculiar to them, a singular and profound imprint of three is shaped over time to give birth to raw compositions, scenes of lives in which bad encounters, lessons of friendships and love confessions intersect. After their sweet walk Ocean, the trio returns with Misery, pop-soul song that invites you to let go. The track opens with the bass line, round and fast and the discreet tambourine, which gives the song its 60's soul colors from the first seconds. Thomas' blues voice makes its entrance on this rhythm section. Misery tells the story of the loneliness you face when you go through a difficult stage in your life. 
They met at the beginning of 2017, and since then they give themselves body and soul in a blues n' soul register. Each member of the group having his own experience, their meeting confronts a soul-ful aesthetic, tinged with groove, without however locking themselves into a genre. Today, the trio is back with the EP rich of six tracks ĀPĪ, of which we can already discover three extracts Woman, Ocean and Misery.
