Lehmanns Brothers are back with the announcement of their new EP, The Youngling Vol 2 which will be released on 18/11/2022 and promises to be splendid judging by Rain's live session recorded at Alhambra Studios. The Lehmanns Brothers take up the challenge of mixing jazz, funk and afrobeat. Behind this unique sound, made of explosive rhythms and incredible voices, we find the influences of James Brown, Jamiroquai or The Roots. Their concerts are exhilarating and warm. A real discharge of joy and positive energy, which gives you ants in the legs! This Charente group, born ten years ago on the benches of the Lycée Guez-de-Balzac in Angoulême, has since enjoyed exponential success. Who has already led him to the Montreux Jazz Festival. Since then, he has been spreading his good "afro groove" vibes and his festive music all over France, but also in Italy, Germany, England, Luxembourg and even Russia. They have already shared the stage with the Wu-Tang Clan, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Electro Deluxe or even Joey Starr! Their powerful musical identity is carried by the generous energy that characterizes them, the rhythmic power, crazy funk and aerial guitars, a precise and joyful brass section and a charismatic singer. 
The Lehmanns Brothers are mainly a stage band, which tours considerably in France but also beyond the borders: Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, England… With its infernal rhythmic triangle (Clément Jourdan on bass, Alvin Amaïzo on guitar and Dorris Biayenda on drums) supported by flaming brass instruments (with Jordan Soivin on trombone accompanied by Jonas Muel on the tour) and the vocals and keyboards of Julien Anglade, we do not resist long to their repertoire straddling jazz, rock, soul and afro music.
