OrelSan and Stéphane Strappazzon, founders of the AVNIER brand, presented a new capsule collection on May 6 in collaboration with Arena. The two brands have joined forces for a collection, merging AVNIER's vision of fashion with ARENA's technical know-how. This collaboration is intended to be hybrid and unisex. At the crossroads between swimwear and streetwear, "DRIP!" reveals technical and modern parts.

Sebastian Strappazzon and OrelSan have been influenced by the past and motivated by the future. "Drawing on Arena's technical know-how and archives, we discovered classics from the 70s and 90s on which we wanted to experiment with our vision of fashion. '' they teach us. The collection takes up the iconic graphic elements of the famous swimming brand by combining them with Avnier's urban aesthetic, ample, comfortable and aggressive with its imposing logos. The colors are powerful, electric, married sometimes to black, sometimes to white. For both brands, sustainability is a crucial commitment. This is why the materials used have been carefully chosen. Indeed, we find for some parts, fully recycled and eco-responsible materials. 
AVNIER X MOCHI
Avnier and Arena offer the services of mangaka Mochi. Surfing on the craze around sports manga such as Amanchu! (Kozue Amano) and Swimming Ace (Renji Hoshi and Hajime Inoryû), the artist offers us captivating visuals with shimmering colors. The main poster immediately recalls the cult anime from Kyoto Animation and Animation DO studios, Free!, and brings us a good dose of nostalgia with its graphics that instantly evoke the sports shônen of the belle époque. Slam Dunk as well as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Hirohiko Araki) or Captain Tsubasa are indeed inspiring figures for Mochi! Its design and the look of its characters highlight the style of the collection, and seem to invite us to dive into the big bath too! 
In addition to a nice nod to Orelsan's well-known passion for manga, it is therefore an opportunity for the brand to open a collection with a marked and very attractive visual. Whether you are a fan of manga or not, whether or not you know those that inspire Mochi, we can only salute the quality of the mangaka's work. This is a new proof of the force of attraction and diffusion of this art, which highlights here the work of stylists and awakens the nekketsu fiber that vibrates in each of us! 
AVNIER X ARENA
The highlight of the collection is the unisex swimsuit. It has been designed for those who do not necessarily want to always be sexy at the beach. From this idea was born the set tshirt + shorts with compression sleeves and jammers. Enough to score points with some buyers! But that's not all. Whether you like to run or swim, this jersey can accompany you during your sports practices, since it is intended for amphibious use. Inspired by the Power Skin Recovery technology developed by ARENA, the sleeves and bib shorts of the swimsuit are made of a compression carbon fabric. Complemented by silicone bands, which help improve blood circulation, promote muscle recovery and provide support to your muscles. The fabrics are stretchy, thin, lightweight and will dry quickly. 
There are also other swimsuits, a bathrobe, pool flip-flops or a waterproof bag. For streetwear pieces, we find different t-shirts. The SpacerShell crewneck in neoprene, a windbreaker, a jacket and sweatpants.
