After a digital edition in 2020 and a cancellation in 2021, the iconic We Love Green festival is back for this summer 2022. The opportunity to return to what the We Love Green spirit is and present its programming, between artistic celebration and ecological awareness.
A committed festival
For more than 10 years, We Love Green has established itself as the eco-responsible festival par excellence. With its Think Tank, a place for listening and discussion, the festival assumes a role of cultural media coverage by raising awareness of respect for the environment and the values of social justice.
Researchers, journalists, activists, thinkers, specialists in climate change: all are mobilized to advance the debate on social, economic and ecological issues, in order to grasp current issues through intertwined perspectives.
You can find the program of the conferences.
A space for innovation
We Love Green is committed to being an innovative laboratory to promote new responsible ecological approaches. With the Village Innovations, you will find actors committed to the circular economy, sustainable agriculture and food, green energy, sustainable fashion and cosmetics, and many others.
We Love Green also dedicates its festival to art. With Green Europe Experience, the festival becomes a space of expression for young artists, designers and scenographers who will have the opportunity to make their creations known. Same principle for food: with the contest "Chef.fe.s d'affiche" the festival highlights restaurateurs committed to eco-responsible cooking and in line with new modes of consumption.
A large-scale line-up
Thus, to mark the occasion for its comeback, the festival returns with a licked programming from pop to rap, through rock, electro and French song that will punctuate the 4 scenes of the Bois de Vincennes.
Are invited to this new edition some regulars like Angèle, PNL, Ibeyi and Juliette Armanet, but also some newcomers including Laylow, Lous & The Yakuza and Rema.
Some headliners will be there such as Jorja Smith, Gorillaz, Clara Luciani, SCH and Phoenix, as well as some emerging artists including Nathy Paluso, Arlo Parks, 1pliké140, Bianca Costa or Shygirl.
The festival offers a rap program from all horizons with Dinos, La Fève, Slowthai, Zinée, Joysad and Chanceko. Same for electro: we will find in the heart of Vincennes Myd, Disclosure, Banga, but also the trio PPJ, Charlotte de Witte and Tsha.
