UFO(s): the best series in the world

It is available since the beginning of January on Canal +, and it is the best series of this new year. Directed by Clémence Dargent and Martin Douaire, the show is a unique, lunar work, as we rarely see. Somewhere between the cinema of Quentin Dupieux and that of Steven Spielberg, UFO(s) is a comic science fiction series, sweet / bitter, nostalgic and above all extremely precise. Whether in the writing of his situations, his characters, in the sets, in the photography or in the music, everything is of surgical precision. Review "UFO(s)" available on Canal +: between real and imaginary The show breathes the 1970s. By the costumes, the sets, the atmospheres, the dialogues, and certain details that only connoisseurs of this time will notice, Clémence Dargent and Martin Douaire have left nothing to chance. It's a bit like the French Stranger Things , both in the tone used, but also in the modern electro soundtrack and yet fits perfectly with the 1970s. Indeed, this soundtrack is absolutely stunning. Of a superb beauty, and totally ambient, so much so that we want to put it in our own evenings.

Definitely a season 2

UFO (s) is therefore an effective show, which offers reversals of impactful situations and especially an extremely precise writing. It's funny, touching, phantasmagorical and above all very gripping. Because Clémence Dargent and Martin Douaire manage perfectly to play between real and fantastic, between conspiracy theories and science fiction, between clichés and novelties. The duo plays with the knowledge of the spectators, with the clichés of the genre, to take them to other horizons. Review "UFO(s)" available on Canal +: between real and imaginary Because the scripted elements of the series are quite hackneyed, but via a new atmosphere and exciting characters, everything takes an innovative and saving turn. Between its historical affiliation, and its intriguing fictional approach, the show touches on everything: comedy, drama, biopic, science fiction. And by force, the spectator finds himself in the place of the characters, and does not know what or who to believe. So, UFOs or no UFOs? A question that will be difficult to answer… It had to be said right away that it was so good UFOs. Perfectly mastered series, somewhere between the cinema of Steven Spielberg and that of Quentin Dupieux. A brilliant, lunar, endearing French Stranger Things , carried by a stunning soundtrack.  https://youtu.be/gZqM0qi49hQ
