Timéo, the circucomedy around disability, will be launched on September 16 and we were able to attend the presentation showcase at the Casino de Paris.
A few days ago, we were warmly received by Alex Goude in a packed Casino de Paris, to listen to some of the music, discover the troupe, and better understand the story of Timéo. What is most striking are its values. Talking about disability can be difficult in the world of leisure and circus, and Timéo, nothing for that, is an example to follow.
Between the circus and the musical, Timéo tells the dream of a disabled child who manages to access a life of acrobat by overcoming all obstacles. In turn, the role of Timéo will be played by Mathias and Benjamin, accompanied by a shock troupe, including well-known names such as Mikelangelo Leconte or Jéremy Charvet. Note, as we can see that the costumes are quite crazy.
The author Jean-Jacques Thibaud tells us about meeting a disabled child passionate about the circus world. This story will give him the inspiration to write this musical tale that will be the support of a strong message. A message of tolerance and perseverance and joie de vivre. Alex Goude will be seduced by the project and stages it brilliantly and a humanist note that vibrates the conquered room.
Six titles will be unveiled, varied and ultra catchy. We leave the Casino de Paris with regret, surrounded by clowns who offer us popcorn and give us big smiles. No need for that to be conquered by the good spirit and good vibrations that surround Timéo who is predicted to be a great success. We promise, we will come back in force on September 16 for the real start of the show.
