Exploring a part of life with humor where a young man finds himself unemployed, The Unemployed is a funny play, critical of a contemporary society and the way it looks at those who do not have work. Supported by a dynamic troupe that offers a topical subject, the play presented at the Montparnasse box office gives to see a set of sketches, often parodic, of our society. Director Arnaud Patron presents Malo in the title role. Unemployed, his girlfriend has left him, he nevertheless tries in a world where everything depends on your work to get back on track. A societal parody certainly, but above all critical, the humorous play presents characters all more crazy than each other. Led by rap-style music between certain scenes and by ideas that work while being ultra simple, the piece is unadorned, intelligent, human, although the team is still looking for a little. It is still the staging ideas that work best, such as the rhythmic scene like a Facebook discussion. We will remember on the part of the director a real work of writing, nothing is left to chance, in the terms, in the parodies as that of the political debate. The unemployed is available on Sundays at the Montparnasse box office theater and will land in Avignon during the festival.
