In the intimate and comfortable room of Ciné 13, with its particularly warm and welcoming staff, five talented actors from the play Something suits you for a small evening with friends on a night of music festival.

A budding friendship

At the end of a speaking group, Cleopatra, Vic, Lucy and Michele decide to spend an evening together in order to get to know each other and to be able to speak more freely. Endowed with radically different personalities, they will learn to appreciate each other, to accept each other and to form a deep friendship. The play follows their journey both within the city and within themselves, each learning from the experience and character of the others.

A talented team

Tragicomedy perfectly combining laughter with tears, Something is a play by Capucine Maillard, directed by Andréa Bescond, Molière 2016 in the category Alone on stage. The actors are particularly talented and endearing. It is a real pleasure for the eyes and a ballet of emotions! In this feminine universe embellished with the visit of a friend for a few minutes, confidences and humor come to populate the void.

A difficult subject handled brilliantly

Victims of the same trauma, incest, and its consequences years later, they share their laughter and passions for an evening, between confession and warning to those who listen to them. Around dances and mise en abyme more liberating than the groups of speech, they learn to live and no longer to survive as we recall at the beginning of the piece.

An awaited show

Written by one of its four actresses, the play Something was able to become the masterpiece it is today following an ulule fundraising campaign that allowed the team to have the necessary budget for the technique. It is thanks to the support of the spectators of the first performances, including Andréa Bescond, author and performer of the show Les chatouilles, and that of Ciné 13, that this play can make us laugh and move us until the end of the week.

There are still places left for the performances on Friday and Saturday night, so don't hesitate to share this moment!
