Pauline Koehl in a few words is the uninhibited thirty-year-old that we take pleasure in seeing on stage. This young Toulouse presents her one woman show every Tuesday at 8:30 pm at the Théâtre du Marais.
For an hour, Pauline Koehl balances everything about the shortcomings of her life. She does not mince her words and shares with us her rants, her favorites and even her kidney strokes to the delight of the spectators.
During the first minutes of the show, we can fear listening to yet another comedian who tells us about his daily life with a few witty words. But quickly, we feel that we will have a good time. On the one hand, because Pauline Koehl is an excellent actress, full of energy, who brilliantly interprets her characters. And on the other hand, because there is a real work of writing. We do not regret having braved the cold to enjoy his facial expressions and his formidable footwork.

Pauline Koehl or Bridget Jones' stand-up
Pauline Koehl is a real and very talented actress. Despite what she may have said, especially about the teachers she met, her acting classes have served her well. Real finds and characters that always ring true. His show is a great mix between stand-up and theatrical show.
Pauline Koehl also has something of her own, which is that she is very funny in ridicule. His strength is to dare without ever falling into pathos. She has fun with herself and others in a very intelligent way. A kind of Bridget Jones on stage who tells us on her diary obviously exaggerating the situations (well we hope for her). She also has the ability to say very raw things and yet make her show sometimes very poetic. Indeed, under her air of braggart, Pauline Koehl seems to be a true lover of words. We will have noticed and appreciated hearing the male spectators laugh as much as the female spectators. A universal humor that makes it a show for all genres.
In addition, the Théâtre du Marais is a very pleasant little theater to enjoy a one man show. It creates a real intimacy with the actor on stage and promotes interactions. We also feel good because Pauline Koehl knows how to put us at ease. A must see if you wish, on a Tuesday evening, to have a good time.
