Victoria Thierrée-Chaplin will be at the 13th Art from January 30th until February 3rd with Murmures des murs, amazing show!

After the huge success of L'Oratorio d'Aurélia (2003), Victoria Thierrée-Chaplin composed with Murmures des Murs a new opus for her daughter Aurélia and two companions. To do this, it slips behind the facades of abandoned buildings, planted in the midst of urban solitude, and unravels the silence that would make the bursts of life in the concrete. Following in the footsteps of a woman lost in a deserted Venice, she invents a joyful nightmare: summoned to leave her precarious shelter, the young lady piles up her trinkets and dreams at the bottom of her boxes and goes in search of the soul of the abandoned buildings. Here she goes for a fabulous trompe-l'oeil journey where she meets fantastic critters and very curious objects. A multi-talented artist, Aurélia Thierrée brings her mischievous presence to this zany and unpredictable universe, where dreams undo all reason. In Murmures des murs, Aurélia Thierrée takes us into a strange world populated by fantastic creatures. A superb show, between dream and nightmare and which will only be given for six dates in Paris on the stage of the 13th Art, from January 3o to February 03rd.

Here's the trailer of Murmures des Murs :

The hands of the clock are racing. A third hand comes out of a coat pocket. A clothesline becomes a zip line. Italian-inspired building facades are the backdrop to this moving dream. The walls have no ears but eyes, arms. They conceal, curtains conducive to the strangest appearances and disappearances. Dances, acrobatics and phantasmagoria, the walls come to life, she is the actress or the spectator. With two accomplices, the runaway organizes the metamorphoses, invites you to travel to the center of a fabulous land. Dancer, performer, muse of the eccentric London band Tiger Lillies, Aurélia Thierrée invents, visits and exposes her world, crazy bestiary or joyful nightmare.
