Moi non plus is a play that has been presented at the Théâtre de la Madeleine since January 19. It focuses on the special relationship between two exceptional artists, Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg.
Bertrand Soulier is the author of this ambitious project. The man was rocked very early in the musical world since his training began at 5 years old. He currently has two albums to his credit. He has also composed for popular French artists such as Florent Pagny and Sinclair. Solid luggage to carry out "Me neither". Inevitably, when tackling two sacred monsters of cinema and music, we must be well informed.
As part of his investigations, Bertrand Soulier reread the biographies and tried to dig scrupulously. He was thus able to imagine the context of this piece. Two very different personalities who have left their mark on their respective fields. A most exciting meeting.
We find Philippe Lellouche in the staging. He was seduced by his two beings who perfectly embody the notion of freedom. A different time compared to today's world where the tendency is to want to control everything.
Mathilde Bisson has the difficult task of embodying this muse of the seventh art. She has had the opportunity to shine in theater and cinema.
To play the role of the atypical composer, the Moi non plus team relied on Jérémie Lippmann. An artist who has been seen in many films and who has practiced directing several times.
