Sunday, January 15 at 2:00 pm the Comme Si Que troupe makes its final performance at the Edgar Theater in the 14th. She will play an adaptation of Georges Feydeau's famous play, La Dame de Chez Maxim. Building on its success, this piece has been performed since its creation more than 500 times.
Everything is there in this room to have a good time. We find a famous dancer from the Moulin Rouge waking up in the bed of Doctor Petypon who must not only hide it from his wife, but also from his uncle whom he had not seen for ten years and returned that day from Africa. Of course this uncle takes the kid for the wife of the Doctor and invites them both to celebrate the wedding of his niece in Touraine. Then follows a cascade of misunderstandings and situations more incredible than the others.
The art of situation comedy is pushed here to its paroxysm leading the spectator into a succession of laughter. Not to be missed if you want to have a good time and enjoy a boulevard theater played by actors who embody their characters wonderfully.
