The Théâtre Antoine becomes the Théâtre du Manoir and hosts two musicals for young audiences: Kid Manoir!
The famous children's musical returns doubly to the stage of the Antoine Theatre
It was in 2008 that the team behind the success of BIG MANOIR created the "spin-off" for children of this musical: KID MANOIR, THE FORBIDDEN POTION, a real phenomenon of immersive musical show for children.
Developed in order to adapt to young audiences (from the age of 4), KID MANOIR is now available in two shows, one sweeping the universe of a haunted mansion, which is the original show, and the other being set in the bewitching one of Egypt and a curse of a Pharaoh.
With 10 years of deserved success, we feel the show well oiled and it is a theatrical pleasure that again will transcend generations.
An artistic quality that explains its success
We begin to be passionate about the Egyptian plot made of flashbacks cleverly distilled. A pleasant plot and especially carried by singer actors whose performances are matched only by the quality of writing music and lyrics, perfectly adapted to young audiences, but also to the older ones who will surprise themselves singing together some flagship titles. Special mention to Malicia who delivers an exciting game that captures us very quickly.
It is clear that all the attention paid to the musical part, which certainly contains potential hits.
An interactive and playful mise en abyme
KID MANOIR is a show in which 4 candidates (actors) participate in a game presented by Malicia, a kind of mistress of ceremonies full of energy and spicy humor. She will take us by the hand and take us in the craziest tests that the candidates will have to pass (with the help of the children) in order to win the game and the treasure of Kid manor. The unexpected intervention of an ancestral mummy will undermine Malicia's game and plans.And thus take us to the borders of a mysterious Egypt, pretext for a thrilling adventure for young and old.
The Curse of the Pharaoh, which is therefore the new opus of Kid Manoir, deserves a room even larger than this delicious setting that is the Antoine Theater, as the action and choreographies happily fill the stage space.
So let's not sulk our pleasure at this end-of-year period when the desire is to stay under your duvet: here is an original show, filled with positive and entertaining values that will enchant your afternoon with your family.
