Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Harry Potter and the conquered public

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child tells the story of Albus Potter, the son of the famous Harry Potter. Nineteen years after the final battle against Voldemort, Harry faces new problems. The thorniest thing is surely to find common ground with his son. The play received a mixed reception upon arrival. The actress playing Hermione Granger, Noma Dumezweni, had been criticized for her skin color. For many fans, Hermione's character had to remain white, like her first interpreter Emma Watson. Yet at the ceremony where L'Enfant Maudit shone so brightly, the speeches of tolerance vis-à-vis minorities were widely applauded. The play directed by John Tiffany was able to overcome criticism and was able to meet a wide audience. Originally performed at the Palace Theatre in London, the play was exported to the United States and Australia, to Melbourne.
